Build power? Is that measurable? What units calories, horse power? Not horses, but that other farm animal - the Bull. Bull-feces.
When I was a young teen in the 1970’s I shared Gene Roddenberry’s positive star trek future ‘progress’ fantasy. I would have bet all my paper route money that well before 2021 woo woo & superstitious thinking would be long gone. The opposite has happened. Thanks for the insight Apnea and Charlesa.
I do agree that we should all be wary of unearned knowledge. Especially when it is based on pure faith and “feel good” ideas.
Having both sides of the spectrum will definitely help people make better decisions for the future.
Let us not forget that being naive and “woo woo”, is definitely NOT being a good person. Blissful ignorance will never prepare you for the vicissitudes of life.
