“It took Attwood thirty years to notice that his own son, Will Attwood, was autistic.” *1
And that’s exactly the depth of piercing insight you can expect from Attwood. Which is why people who actually have autism keep telling him to sod off, stop mocking us, stop calling our condition by a term used by Nazis to justify killing us, stop making things up because he thinks they sound good, even in the complete absence of supporting evidence etc. But he doesn’t listen. Because its not about helping people with this condition, or their parents, its about Tony Attwood.
