Ba ha ha ha ha another book of American lies. The secret service are a joke. Ask JFK or Reagan or Trump’s ear.
Funny how American’s, even as they approach collapse can’t give up their boasting. The only thing the USA is still #1 at is Bull-Shitting and Volume.
It’s impossible for civilized humans to have a conversation with pathological bull-shitters. Perhaps one day, in new America, the people with get over their insecurity and credit theft and need to boast about being #1 at everything. I could write a book about all the things American stole credit for, especially firsts and the anger when challenged and proven wrong/lying. When it’s not our right lying it’s some pretzel how the other person’s invention or discovery is disqualified because of BS X Y & Z - they always have a reason. What is it like living with a need like that? Half the nation wants to disown Trump. Trump is 100% American. There is nothing unAmerican about him. Trump is as American as Apple Pie.

Was The SS failure of JFK assassination 100% incompetence or was someone corrupted?
In 2003 a fake journalist snuck on the press plane following Air Force 1.
In 2009 a couple of Realty tv stars got into a white house party - they were not invited and just waved through by the SS because they dressed and played the part. Imagine if they had worse intentions than reality tv bragging rights and fame?
In 2011 a guy was shooting at the white house and the SS knew right away, but the superiors order a stand down because they somehow thought it was noise from construction. 4 days later a cleaning person at the White House found shards of glass and cement from the shooting, by a 21 year old disgruntled man named Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez. He hit the White House at least 7 times using a semi-automatic rifle. How would you like to be the SS guy who has to tell Obama? SS, “sir,someone tried to assassinate you 4 days ago” Obama - “why did you wait to tell me?”. SS”We just found out ourselves, sir”. “Sorry sir” WHOOPS.
1 year late in Columbia as part of Obama’s security team, 12 of them got drunk and hired a bunch of whores. The kicker is that the only reason they got caught and it because a world wide scandal and embarrassment and multiple career ender including senior SS members is because one of the SS agents stiffed, uh did not pay his hooker and she reported them to the police and the press. In Sept of 2014, Omar J. Gonzalez scaled the fence and ran across the grounds and got into the white house through an unlocked, unguarded door before the SS finally stopped him. He had a knife on him. Other SS screw-ups in 2014 included 2 agents being sent home after getting drunk on a trip to Amsterdam. One sent explicit email to a junior agent while another SS dummy left a bullet in a woman’s hotel room after a night of drinking. This resulted in the director,Julia Pierson. being fired, no resigning that year. There’s more screw ups and god only knows how many have been successfully covered up.
Ok so let’s be perfectly honest now. Has the US Secret Service really earned the praise as:

I think not. Nothing could be further from the truth. I clicked on this book because I had heard Evy Poumpouras in an interview and what she said resonated with me, but I can’t get past the bull-shit of bragging up the SS when they do not deserve it. Their behavior on and off the job has been atrocious. I can’t read a book when it’s introduced based on a bunch of lies. Not reading or rating. I should be awarded at least 4 stars for me effort.
