Anxiety is real — but it isn’t the end of your story.
Dr. John Delony knows what anxiety feels like. He’s walked that dark road himself, but he found light and hope on the other side of it. Bringing together his own journey and two decades of counseling and research, he walks you through:
The four biggest myths about anxiety and the life-changing truth
Practical steps you can take today to start getting your life back
Long-term strategies for healing to help you move forward
John will show you that most of what you’ve heard about anxiety is wrong. Things like:
If you have anxiety, you’re broken and need to be fixed.
Anxiety is a disease that can only be cured with medicine.
Anxiety is caused by your genetics.
While mental health is complex, our culture has made anxiety into something it’s not. For the majority of people who face anxiety, the truth is simpler than we think: Anxiety is an alarm. It’s a signal — nothing more and nothing less. Anxiety is simply our body’s way of telling us something is wrong. If we stop and listen, we can calm the alarm and move forward into healing and hope.

“If you have anxiety, you’re broken and need to be fixed.” What!!!?
Anxiety is normal, necessary, and beneficial, though too much anxiety can be a problem and needs to be managed. Current research supports this position.
Perhaps the problem is that this is partly a Christian perspective on anxiety (which is not mentioned in the title or description). The author “walked that dark road himself, but he found light and hope on the other side of it.”
And with HIS help, you can do the same.

like fear of death is worse than death itself. Any such writing that tries to downplay the seriousness of this mental state doesn’t know what he is talking about, and in the process he is insulting those who have lived this mental agony. To say almost everybody faces it once in a while is also utmost stupidity because getting cut through a sharp knife once and living in that pain of a knife going through your flesh frequently is totally different.

Yonidass, read the description carefully.
“John will show you that most of what you’ve heard about anxiety is wrong. Things like:
If you have anxiety, you’re broken and need to be fixed.”
It’s listing notions that are wrong.

@P1ayD0h, my bad on that one. I was put off by the disguised Christian messaging. Plenty of reviewers have complained about that. I have no problem with combining a Christian vision with CBT approaches to anxiety management—if that’s your thing—but it should made clear in the title and description.
