Oh, Jesus, a book whining about “people I didn’t know were slaves!!” “Nobody ACTUALLY oppresses me but the knowledge that it happened in the past is holding me back today!!” You can’t have PTSD from something YOU NEVER EXPERIENCED. I’m black, and we were FINE until around 2000, suddenly everybody (usually racist black WOMEN), started whining about how things that never affected them…are somehow affecting them. Wow! A lot of comments about an audiobook you don’t have to listen to? No ones making anyone download this! But again, probably 90% of the negative comments are from people who never felt the sting of Racism in their everyday life, and believe things are equal now. But when people of color try to tell them what was done (Historically to people of color, and how it still effects America today) they say, ” Ohh, your against white people”.
