“FM (Functional Medicine) proponents claim they are providing a new model for medicine to replace the one we have now. The way FM advocates like Hyman, Bland, and others characterize standard science-based medicine is a model of cherry picking and confirmation bias. Their own model is hideously unsupported by scientific evidence. They claim that all of us should be “treated” for our nutritional deficiencies, genetic makeup, and environmental toxicities before symptoms of our “diseases” show themselves. There is very little evidence to support their notions about the need for supplements or detoxification. There is so much known about nutrition these days that it would be absolutely amazing if the FM folks didn’t have much sound advice about what we should or shouldn’t be eating on a regular basis. That fact hardly excuses their hubris at pushing their pipedream model of health and disease while denigrating science-based medicine. The belief that diet, supplements, and detox are going to solve all the world’s health problems is a pipedream. There is no basis in reality for such a belief. It isn’t even plausible given what we do know about nutrition and disease.”

Hello. Here are some things I’d like answered:
i) This makes me curious: ‘I can connect to 1 out of 9-11 peers. What is it about these uploads that scare them?’ This sounds pretty normal for most torrents, and is governed by a number of factors, some of which are not under the control of seeders.
ii) Can you please expand on this: ‘Check out the Henry Kissinger Audiobook and then tell me I can trust the American government (or any criminal governments) with my health! Please do. I will expose you for what you are.’
I’m unclear as to how reading an audiobook on an admittedly corrupt politician involved in foreign policy (primarily) would then affect my reasoning on how empirically-based, peer reviewed science works? Are you saying that anyone that disagrees with you needs to be exposed? Do you know how that sounds?

If you are actually serious about promoting and exploring alternatives to ‘big pharma’, why not try to join with the many people putting pressure on for pre-registration of clinical trials and attempts to get companies to do more to develop treatments for orphan diseases and other less financially-lucrative groups. Very few of the many, many books you have posted have any evidence at all behind them. NONE can be said to be ‘cures’.
iv) ‘Anybody care to debate, do it properly’. I’ve not seen a jot of actual debate from you, just ad-hominen attacks that make your position seem rather difficult to follow. Calling people criminals is rather laughable, as the vast majority of the books that you post are written by people trying to peddle products.
