Oh, it just had to be another “It’s racist!” book, didn’t it?
The title holds promise, sadly, the “examining her privilege” is simply the phrase for “spoiled child examining their navel at your expense”.
Imagine the horrors of finding an education system that is meant to keep the status quo in a country which, up until they went full Covid Nazi, was the envy of the world.

@gordoncoon, which country is it that was the “envy of the world?” Because this certainly hasn’t been true of the USA for a good 50 years.
(I am not sure we were ever the envy of the Western world except in our own popular myth)
Not saying those living in poverty stricken underdeveloped countries wouldn’t swap passports with a US citizen but we wouldn’t be their first choice anymore.

There’s nothing I admire more than someone who can’t read a book’s introduction and work out which country it pertains to, despite it stating clearly which country in the blurb.
So, Jack and Brassy, I admire your desire to get worked up into a lather over anything where you think your imaginary American racism is at play but this is set in the antipodes of the United Kingdom and thus, you can probably give it a rest for now without embarrassing yourselves further.
Seriously, I know this is an audiobook site, but learning to read, really can’t hurt.
